Dr. Sara Pohjola DC
Dr. Sara Pohjola earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, Texas. She is dedicated to providing thorough, gentle, and effective care for patients of all ages, including young athletes.
Growing up with severe asthma, Dr. Sara could not live the active lifestyle she desired. Competitive swimming was just one of the many sports she enjoyed. After battling a shoulder injury and asthma, she sadly discontinued her athletic pursuits.
Having seen every asthma specialist in the area, she felt hopeless. At age 18, Dr. Sara’s life changed when she began chiropractic care – an approach that didn’t merely cover up her symptoms but instead addressed the root of the problem. Within a few months of chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Sara no longer needed her extensive amount of daily asthma medications, 6 in total, and she began to exercise again without any restrictions.
Dr. Sara is passionate for preventing other children from missing out on life due to health issues. Her mission is to focus on the true source of her patient’s conditions while giving the best chiropractic care possible.
Dr. Erica Yu DC
Dr. Erica Yu grew up in Los Altos, CA. She enjoyed a variety of high school sports but above all, she loved being a cheerleader. After a bad fall cheering, she experienced years of back pain that never improved despite a variety of treatments. This injury halted all athletic activities for Dr. Erica throughout college.
After graduating from UC Santa Barbara, she moved back to Los Altos and received her first chiropractic adjustment. After four months of chiropractic care, Dr. Erica was pain-free and back to snowboarding and diving without worry. Because of this life changing experience, she went on to become a board certified Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer West Chiropractic College in San Jose, CA.
